Moonrise over Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range, Bretton Woods, N.H. Order Item Number W-06

There are only about 4 chances a year to get a shot of the moon rising over Mt. Washington and New Hampshire’s White Mountains. This image of Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range was taken from the cross country center on the grounds of  The Mt. Washington  Hotel.  The moon will rise about 40 minutes later the next day so you only get one chance a month to get both the Alpine Glow light from the setting sun and the moon in a photograph. Throw in the probability of  Mt.Washington and the Presidential Range being  in the clouds and your chances are greatly reduced. Finding a good foreground is important to complete the scene.
